if all other internet connections are working, than theres something wrong next to you internet explorer. You do have a wireless card, right?

Basically if your have internet problems, when it says your connected, it's something you've done.
You will imagined have to install some exotic drivers.

However, you also have to keep hold of in mind that Microsoft wishes to move away from their original GUI style (hence Vista). Unfortunately, that manner Vista does not play well beside others. (Just like a computer running 95 or 98 can connect near and do anything it wants to an XP (and a 2000) network machine, and the "new" OS will not even see the connected computer!)
ush, check your connections, fashion sure eveything is plugged in, or you obligation a network adapter that plugs into your PCI slot.
see whats wrong beside it, ask some one to help.
