My laptop detecs other wireless networks but not the one i.e. mine what can I do? THX?

Make sure the router is set to BROADCAST signal.
I would go into the router configuration page and get sure you have the wireless turned on and be paid sure the router is broadcasting the wireless network christen
Your security setting on your prevalent computer is set up wrong? I had a similar problem and found the bit setting did not contest my laptops minimum setting.
