where on earth would i be able to find if my newspaper of vista is a 32 or 64 bit? my nvidia card has be troubling me so i need a newer driver, but i dont know whether to download the 32 bit or the 64 bit rationale im not sure which type of vista i have..

Answer:
if you own a "My Computer" icon on your desktop - consequently right click on that icon - a small skylight will pop up - click on Properties - another window will pop up - surrounded by there you should see whether you hold a 32 bit or a 64 bit

if you do NOT have a "My Computer" god on the desktop
click on Start - a window will pop up - within there you should see - Computer - right click on that and click on Properties
another skylight will pop up (as above) and show what you have
If you bought it will narrate you on the box. If it was preinstalled check the documentation.

In xp you could right click my computer and hit properties, but I am not sure surrounded by Vista (it will probably take your 15-20 unnecessary steps contained by Vista).
1) Go to the start menu

2) Right click on "computer", hit "properties

3) Under the "system" section of the blind that appears, it should have a wedge called "system type". This displays whether you own a 32-bit or 64-bit OS.
Right click on My Computer and select properties.
