What type of knees top to buy ?

Want to spend nearly $1600-1700 NZ . Quite like toshibas. Would approaching something i can game on, but first and foremost just email and surfing.

Answer:
Maybe Sony. The monitor is markedly nice.
A MacPro.
not a dell
Try a Mac Ibook, they are the best.
Toshibas break and are complete crap. Trust me on that, my friend went through dozens of them and he's a computer fixing expert! If I be you, Id go near HP. Their laptops are made to last and tend to be more full of atmosphere than most.
Go to the computer shop. Ask for

"What is the cheapest Dual Core laptop you have?"

The processor will any be:

Centrino Duo
Core Duo
Core 2 Duo
Turion X2

If its not one of those, don't buy it. But the computer salesman should know this and once you ask for cheapest dual core laptop, he'll give you the best one.

Buy a two year warranty at lowest, if not more.
I similar to Toshiba or Dell. My daughter likes Compaq.
I basically got and HP and im pleased next to it.
I have a Toshiba A105-S2231 and I categorically love it.

It has adjectives the power I need for flimsy gaming and easily handle the internet with a high-speed (cable) nouns, and I picked it up for $850.00 (US). You might also want to look at the Qosmio, which is a bit more expensive, but an excellent computer as well.
I'll buy the sony core2due vaio, unless thay net quadCore, the one with the bluray movie playback, because DVDs and TV (media center) look benign of crappy at NTSC, trust me i know.
Do not get a Toshiba. Their energy expectancies are quite short. My Toshiba last a year. I would get a Dell Inspiron E1405, the computer I own. It has a 2.0GHZ processor which is worthy for playing games, a 120 GB hard drive so you enjoy space for playing games, and a 2 GB memory which allows more info to be displayed on a page. Perfect for gaming and surfing. Only costed me around $1600. Again, do not buy a Toshiba. You don't get what you pay packet for.
buy hp dv9000 or 6000 series nice laptops
For gaming try
- Alienware Aurora m7700
- HP Pavilion zd8000
or cyberpower..
if only for department or home user, better
- LENOVO 3000 C200
- HP Smart Buy nx7300 Intel Core Duo T2300
- Acer TravelMate 2480-2551 - Celeron M 420 1.6GHz
best for gaming must best for office or home user
I love my Sony's. They are smaller so I can appropriate them with me, and they look pimp.

If anything net sure to get something beside either ATI or NVidia for its video (gaming) and at tiniest 1gb of RAM.

MAC is a good choice, so few associates have them nobodys care to make virus for them, however the video chip isnt so great, so gaming will be a little comprimised.
