I've used MAC's since 1984 and I still have most of the behind the times ones and they are still working. NEVER had one die on me. Gave the aged ones away or sold them. Even my Mac II is still working. The MAC OS is VERY user friendly and comes with software that would cost a PC user over a thousand dollars if he could even find something comparable. iMovie, iDVD, Garage Band, iTunes, Dashboard near thousands f cool widgets. Get a MAC and never look back
I enjoy heard seriously of complaints about Vista. One said it be the worst mistake in Microsoft's history.

vista is NOT my cup of tea, i used it as a beta, after RC2. it is a waste of resources, kinda gross (imho) and generally stinks, did i mention the excessive confirmation put offs, in a minute i cant say yes or no to mac as i havent tried it an that would be unmerited. what i use i Ubuntu linux, you can buy it on some dells very soon, it is fast, support, free, easy, fun, free, customizable and free. if you similar to the look of macs go to gnome-look.org and download the theme and you could fool an apple employee, also i love the workspaces. i.e. what i sugges

Windows Vista is horrible. I would notably recommend Windows XP. You should get a Toshiba Satellite M65-S9092.
I enjoy not heard anything roughly speaking Vista. However, I bought a quality laptop from http://www.better-shop.com , they are credibly priced, and I love my laptop! Good luck to you.
