My dell laptop does not come on its plugged up!?
Answer:
Take out the battery put it backbone in, try it again
if that doesn't work try booting near and without the power supply (the guess that plugs in to the wall)
if that doesn't work try next to a different power supply and no battery
if that doesn't work, you've get a major problem and would obligation to have someone physically look at it.
Try removing the mobile. Then check and make sure that your power chord is truly getting power to your laptop.
THIS HAPPENED TO ME TOO!! I never really figured out exactly what be going on, but it seemed to be a electric wiring problem. The things that worked the best for me (now my boyfriend puts up with the item...I got a exotic computer because I was feed up with it)
I would push the button to turn it on and consequently move the screen rear legs and forth...sometimes that worked
My boyfriend pushes all of the buttons down around the power button including the power button and sometimes that works (pretty reliable actually)
but when he get real frustrated near it once he kind of pounded on it on the moved out side of the power button and that seems to work too! A lot of it is trial and error. Mine started doing this too at around 2 years, basically when the warranty ran out. Hey, I don`t know we can start a law suit? :) Good luck. It's frustrating. I will enunciate though that I will probably never buy a Dell again because of the experiences that I had beside them over my laptop.
