Laptop for College...stipulation warning?
Sooo I was wondering...what do I call for? Do I have to spend deeply? I would like to spend smaller quantity than $1000...but if it was important, I could spend a little more. I don't team game, so I would mostly use the laptop for homework, music, email, surfing the internet.
If anyone has any recommendation or just standard advice, it would be greatly appreciated!
Answer:
My first counsel would be to get a laptop near a 14" display or smaller. If you plan on dragging your laptop to classes those 15.4" laptops that you see for real cheap are extremely bulky.
I really approaching Toshiba (I own a Dell, Compaq and Toshiba). The Dells are more plastic-like than the other brands. Go visit www.toshiba.com and click on the laptops association. They'll have varied categories. One category say "thin and light" (or something approaching that). They have a laptop for around $800-$900 that have a 13.3" screen and you can customize it next to all sorts of cool hardware option.
Alternatively, I just bought my daughter a MacBook 13" (black). The black one costs around $1500 but it is sleek and muted. They have the white ones for around $1000. If you jump to Apple's website then you can attain a student discount. They don't ask you to prove you're a student so just roughly anyone can get it. It's around a $100-$150 funds. The only problem near the white MacBooks is that those may look dirty over time where a black/gray laptop won't.
Also, this will increase your cost but it's probably worth it. Buy a 3 year warranty for a laptop if you're spending around $1,000. Laptops are flakey.
Good luck surrounded by college! Cure cancer!
