i hold a Toshiba Satellite A 105-S4034. i need someone to please amble me throught the DMI Update because i am getting the wrong machine error. i enjoy tried to find many topics and such on it, but still dont draw from it. Please explain to me , and break it down barney style so i can understand every step and everything i requirement to know. please, i really need to fix my aunties laptop. thx within advnce to any feedback!

The DMI update is supposed to be done by Toshiba Technicians. I know this because I am certified as one. You have to pay attention running this if you don't know what you are doing because it re-writes the information to the BIOS. You have to obtain the correct string input in at hand for it to work correctly. The only time you should capture that error is if the systemboard was replaced and the DMI be not run on it when it was replaced.
