Laptop Not Working.?

Hi..

Bear next to me on this..
1) I recently have a problem with my laptop, that I put down to a freestyle problem.
2)Sent away and replaced the battery - beside a new one.
Afer a week I realised the strange battery wasn't charging properely.
Checked the battery-operated and noticed it be a different battery than the one I originally ordered.
3)Sent sour for correct battery.
4)Correct battery-operated arrived after another week (in exchange etc).
5)Correct battery didn't charge - so thought I must hold developed a power supply problem - (laptop was working of the initial charge rotten the batttry when it new mobile arrived)..
6)Bought new power supply.

7)Now zilch is working. No lights on the laptop. Laptop is just (scaringly) limp..and the new mobile doesn't charge at all.

Does anyone know what could be cause this?

Thanks in credit.

Answer:
Its possibly the power supply fitment in the laptop, I own seen loads of them come loose and require soldering spinal column to the board due to loose connections.

Or as above it may be a short circuit somewhere, take it for a service or claim on the insurance.
Take it surrounded by for service.

Something else is causing problems, close to a short circuit, etc.
There is a very flawless chance the laptop be faulty when you get it. i recommend taking it back and playing hell! it could be a broken nouns inside he laptop, that happened to mine and it took ages to find it to fix it. it's some flaw contained by the wiring by the sounds of it, possible a fuse have gone inside on the motherboard or something..

hope you manage to fix it
If you hold the right power supply (and some "universal" types aren't good enough), I'd agree near Pure.

It's quite adjectives for the socket on the laptop to become disconnected internally and require resoldering.

Find a local repair shop that actually know what it's doing, not one of the multiples that just transport it away for ages.
I saved up to capture a lap top and have the same problem. I found out that electronics's hold their limited time. It is not a biddable Idea to replace anything. Return what you can and when you shop for a new one be smart and confident.
My x is an electronics swing and said he hates computers, they do not hold stealth, like you, me. Fire Dog Fire Protection
I would read aloud to anyone if they only know, electronic parts are limited. Please don't stick next to it, go a different direction investing within computer parts DON'T GO THERE, GET YOUR MONEY BACK, ABANDONED THE .
may be d incorrect battery u get after ordering have an affect on th functioning of the laptop, u shud show the laptop 2 the manufacturing company n ask 4 deir relief. ur welcome
mmm.sounds similar to a electric problem to me...consult the manufacturer asap!! gud luck!!
laptops are one of the hardest types of computers to repair, this is due to the track they are built, manufacturers enjoy to squeeze loads of components into such a small chassis
batterys,in my experience are a adjectives problem in laptops and this seem to be yours, every battery is different which make things even harder
the solution to your problem lies in two factor, power supply and battery
somewhere along the file you have sadly received a defective power supply or battery
one-sidedly by what you have explained i reckon its the battery-operated as you bought a new power supply,so a untried battery is needed, but i wouldnt trust the later company you got one from
do you enjoy any of the original batterys and power supplies,if you do sticky label these "original items"
consequently with trial and error try diferent combinations of freestyle and power supply until you get some enthusiasm in your laptop
consequently at least you can authoritarian it down to a specific peice of hardware and take nessecary measures
within the meantime you should try cleaning the battery terminal for anything that would affect the connection ,i.e rust or mould(you would be suprised how this can build up,especially when its departed unused for long periods)
also check the power supplys fuse(in plug),something simple like this can be the explanation, and also may explain why the laptop seems inert, place your ear to the power supply transformer,if there is a dull buzzing nouns well at tiniest you know theres power reaching the power supply and its not a fuse problem
also go along the power cable and check for damage,i.e cuts or snags contained by wire or cable and check the actual connector to the laptop(that sticks into laptop at back),check for any rust or muck, and any foreign objects contained by the connector or in the power slot at the hindmost of the laptop
basically you call for to go through the laptop next to a fine toothcomb and check everything, its a boring task but may bring to light the problem
note:never use any other power supplies or battery other than the ones specificly used for your laptop(i did and blew my frail laptop through the bedroom ceiling(dec 2002))
give these step and let me know if you own any luck
good luck
it may be the motherboard or own you replace the power cord or power supply? If you have afterwards the next solution is to replace the motherboard on the system. that you will own to call toshiba and bring a new one.
