I am looking to buy a laptop?

The problem is that a bright type of screen is coming out laptops which is LED instead of the usual LCD. I haven't have much luck finding information on LED screens on the internet, but I do know that newer laptops are going to element this instead as it had "more vivid colors". Would it be worth to dally for this new technology to come out or would I be fine beside the current LCD screens?

LED thchnology is clean. Therefore anything using it will be greatly more expensive. As for the difference between them, LEDs beat out even the best desktop monters as far as galvanize speed, making them great for games of fast varying applications. I would say that unless you plant to run a generous number of high symbolic games (or graphics programs) that it would be best to stick to the good antediluvian LCD screens for very soon.
The current LCD screens are fine, the technology have been around for various years and has superior since, the new LED technology is current and still not proven yet so longevity issues may come up, I'd stick the LCD for immediately and after a few years of the LED being out later change to that once it's proven
It may cost abundantly if it's new technology. Probably 1750+, although it probably have a lot of advantages. The foremost one I can think of is profoundly longer battery time because it's LED, and I mean 3-5 hours more.
I enjoy a Acer Aspire 5610 and it has a15.4 wxga crystalbrite Lcd eyeshade that looks better than any other laptop screen that I hold seen and it solitary cost 850bucks !
Light Emitting Diode (LED) displays generate light directly from the peak whereas Liquid Crystal Displays (LCD) require fluorescent lights behind the solution crystals to make the muted show through them.

The LEDs should be more robust since they don't have cup tubes like the fluorescent lights do. If you are going to watch out with your laptop (like most populace should anyway) then it shouldn't product much difference.
LED's are now individual used as backlights to replace mercury containing cold cathode tubes.
OLED's are also coming into use as they have a lower power comsumption and don't have need of a backlight.
