What's the best/safest method of cleaning the ridiculously dirty peak on my laptop?
Answers:
I use anti-static cleaning wipe
Windex on a rag.
Don
Microfiber cloth (used for glasses) and deionized river is best.
Anything other than Microfiber might exit scratches and the hose down won't mess with your system if for a time leaks into the upright!
WOW, DONT USE WINDEX, -edit-
They make raining wipes specifically for electronics, those are the best piece for LCD's that I have ever used. Otherwise a delicately (LIGHTLY) dampened paper towel will work. Notice I said dampened not damp.
My favorite way of cleaning a computer eyeshade is computer/electronic wipes. You can carry a tub of them at Wal-Mart for about $5 or so. But, if you don't want to spend the money on those, another flawless way is to lift a soft cloth (like the kind you'de verbs eyeglasses with), put a small amount of water on it, and next wipe your screen down.
Also, a moment ago a friendly warning: do not use Windex, or any other variety of cleaner that has a glorious alcohol content.
:)
I use Windex. Spray it on a old cloth towel, not treatise, and wipe the screen. Works reasonably well.
Windex, papertowel.
Try run of the mill window cleaner - But do it on a small corner of the eyeshade first - Rub it off resembling you would a normal mirror!, Once delighted that it dones not eat the plastic (And in general doen't anyway) - Don't leave the peak wet - rub it rotten as soon as you can. - Reasonable time anyhow!
I just bring back a bucket of water & detergent and dip with the sole purpose my screen within da bucket and then I depart from it triangle shaped in da dish rack to dry but afta I wipe rotten just da eyeshade first just so in that is no dust and finger prints on da screen. Most individuals dont believe me when I tell dem but it dat is what I do.
Get a static eyeshade cleaner bottle and spray some on the oniter and wipe s the instructions written on the bottle
