Need serve next to microsoft wireless notebook optical mouse 4000?

Alright, i'm posting this cross-examine for my dad. He has a laptop w/this mouse on it. He be using it for a while, no problem. Well all of a sudden it in recent times stopped working. He thought it was the battery-operated, so he bought new battery, and replaced it. Well ever since then, it still won't work. Normally I'm perfect w/computers and stuff on them, but this time I'm stuck. Is there something we're doing wrong? We tried the connect button, and switching the mobile around... nothing.

Well you did a suitable job beside troubleshooting.
I would do a few more things before I can right to be heard buy a new mouse.
Try installing the mouse on another usb port and rather try it on another pc. If it works on another laptop and not on your dads pc you than noticeably know that the problems comes from your dad's pc and not the mouse itself.

If the mouse isnt at adjectives detected on another usb port or another pc than I would own to say you will obligation to get a exotic mouse.
