I use windex and works fine, make sure you do it when the monitor is bad and lay it flat on the surface so that the liquid does not leak through the crack between the screen & the surrounding plastic cladding. Do not use force, purely rub gently and engender sure you remove all excess fluid since tilting the monitor back and turning it on.

i dont know at what store they flog them at but i think it is walmart they go nice'n clean anti-static cleaning wipe they work on tv's VCR'S computers-including non-glare monitor screens and laptops keyboards printers scanners video recorder telephones fax machines and stereo equiptment they come contained by packs of 12 they evaporate rapidly and thay are basicly like moist appendage wipes but they enjoy rubbing alcohal in them a bit than soap i used one to clean my blind the other day and you hold a plasma screen on your computer
To verbs your laptop screen, you should use 3M Notebook Screen Cleaning Wipes, which you can capture from Comp USA. I use those wipes, and it cleans my eyeshade nicely. You shouldn't use anything else to verbs your laptop screen.
