Installing the Sims Deluxe Edition?
I tried to open the team game up but every time no matter which resolution I try, window vista stops it and gives me the message "the sims stopped working, window is looking for a solution" and then I acquire returned to my desktop.
However, I can open the sims creator which is included within the deluxe edition, so whats wrong with the actual spectator sport?
If my CD be scratched, my laptop wouldn't of installed it so don't tell me my cd is scratched.
Answer:
The innovative sims canNOT be run on Vista. Only Sims 2 works on Vista. The original team game is not compatible with the current system and did not work for me either.
There be suggestions I found in lots places saying that if you right clicked the short-cut statue and run the game contained by a windows 98 compatibility mode it would work, but this ruined for me. I never made it past the debut screen.
Thing single thing you can do is any upgrade your game to Sims2 or downgrade your computer to Windows XP. =(
