I am thinking on getting a laptop not a expensive one?
Answer:
My best proposal would not to go for the name you know as you'll generally be paying more for the brand.
I find Acer's are pretty suitable and great value for money. I spent partly on my Acer to what my brother paid for his Toshiba and his is without doubt useless now!
Shop around and compare features.
Just one and the same as your big fat laptop, but portable.
to get the best laptop at the best price the lone thing you can really do is shop around...ALOT
i bought my laptop a couple of years ago and i shopped around for a couple of months earlier starting to get serious around buying one. Your lapto will work in matching way as your desktop except its lighter and have a screen attached(and is a bit more expensive). Besides that its necessarily the same.
You can obtain a great laptop for between 750$ and 1000$. If you get a wireless router for your broadband internet next the lapto can use your internet wirelessly. You should most likely receive a dell. that is what I own and I have have if for years and once when I dropped it the screen broke but they come and fixed it for free. They are great laptops and they have awesome customer service!
All the investigational laptop are Wii Fi so you can use the net wirless, dont verbs,
the best is Toshiba and it is not expensive
Enjoy the net

john lewis will help you and be competitively priced- haven't used a desk top at home for years-do they still cause them?
They work in exactly impossible to tell apart way as your desktop workstation but they are smaller ! You can connect to broadband the same process also by unplugging from the desktop and plugging into the laptop, but that will be a pain if you are planning on using both machines. There are ways of sharing the internet nouns between the 2 machines, but this will depend on how you are connecting to the internet (modem, router etc).
heres a nice site that sells refurbed laptops.www.mcscom.com. they own really good level laptops, all at fair prices
