The fragment where you put a wireless card surrounded by the side (i don't know the technical term) is broken, is it possible to replace it myself. If so, where on earth can i get a replacement chunk?

Often that pcmcia slot is bundled with the motherboard. You would be better stale getting a wireless card the runs off a USB nouns.
