Help!! I a short time ago installed window vista presently my cpu usage is over 50% adjectives the time, what should I do?

so i shift back to xp or is here a way to preserve vista and not work my laptop as a slave.. i have a 2ghz 1 see ram laptop

You could create two partition on your hard drive, one next to vista and one with xp which will allow you to boot to the OS you want at start up.
thats simply vista wasting resources, using 50% at idle is probably run of the mill for vista. it'd be smarter to use xp unless you need vista
ya unforantly vista is tremendously bloated i have 3ghz cpu and 1 see ram and its still slugish the individual way to advance perfooramance is to remove some of the bloat
well vista is awfully hungry for cpu,memory and graphics.It is normal that your cpu is running at 50%...see if u play a game.If I be you I would switch to xp and download vista tranformer pack which looks just resembling vista without adjectives the bugs and the performance reduction.Good luck.
