I want a laptop that can run games?

I'm thinking of buying a laptop and I'm doubting if I could play games on it. I'm not sure just about video cards, I often see games that with the sole purpose support video cards like GF5200 and newer or ATI X550 and newer etc. Are within any laptops that have these video cards installed? I don't want anything drastically expensive. Thanks

There's quite a bit of inexpensive laptops beside Geforce 7600 or ATI X1600. Those are great for gaming and blows away those two cards you just programmed without costing you a fortune close to the Alienware or XPS laptops. Check out www.newegg.com or you can custom make one at hp.
I give attention to you can play games on every Laptop. You can go for Lenovo Laptops or IBM Laptops and can play games confidently.
I had a Compac Presarrio and it worked really economically for games. I took it everywhere with me. The Presarrio comes standard near the 5200. my suggestion is to contact www.patpc.com and see what they have to give as far as the laptops... we order adjectives our pc's from them and they custom make them if you want.
Well, most of the games that I play are pretty starchy so if you're thinking about playing games that enjoy heavy graphics I suggest you any get Alienware Area-51m, Hypersonic Sonic Aviator GX6, or Voodoo envy M:600, but they are a bit expensive, if you're trying to squirrel away money just create sure that the video card is atleast 128 mb supported Direct3D capable video card beside DirectX 9.0c, memory should be atleast 512mb RAM , hardisk 80 gb and you're good to walk. That's enough to fiddle with Warcraft TFT, Grand theft Auto, and much more... :)
