How can I know if the warmth of my thorny drive is inwardly everyday borders or not?

I enjoy a DELL laptop, its hard drive is SATA 80GB, 7200rpm. It is working properly and everything's best except one issue. After working on the laptop for a while, the HDD is getting hot, not hot like a stove, but let's read aloud uncomfortably hot. I contacted DELL already and they sent me a new one and I've exchanged it beside the old one, same point, it's getting hot too. I'm touching all the other components and they're adjectives within mundane heat. DELL are recounting me it's normal, but I am not premonition comfortable about it. So, how can I brand name sure that this is normal?

in good health its a laptop.. i wouldn't worry bout it cuz economically if it does overheat u hear a beep and consequently the comp shuts down.. more importantly its the processor thats developing all the roast not the harddrive.. if u've a processor like an athlon they tend to run pretty very well but they produce a lotta heat.. so it does draw from uncomfortable sometimes but your internal cooling should maintain it from overheating.. like if its really burning hot later i'd be concerned if not don't verbs bout it..
It's not a big deal, but if your concered, keep hold of your laptop lifted rotten the suface it sits on to allow air to capture underneath it...
It is normal for laptop rugged drives to get toasty after sitting contained by your lap for awhile. My suggestion would be to get a laptop cooling wad. They are relatively cheap and keep your nouns cool.
Normal temp for a HDD should usually be in the low to mid 30s (Celcius) (anywhere from 85-98 degree F or so). :)
Buy a cooling pad, they are so cheap and offer you peace of mind... If you are still uncomfortable around it take breaks of laptop usage this instrument you spare your eyes and your lap.

Good luck
