I obligation serve concerning laptop memory!?

They say aloud that a comp needs at tiniest 1GB of memory, but is it still efficent as a 2GB? Does having a 2GB routine that'll go faster or is it unncessary until you gain a program that needs at least possible 2GB for memory. Also, if the computers memory can only hold 2GB does that connote that under any circumstances you cannot expand it? Is it better to only get a laptop that will hold 512mb but is expandable to 4mb or get a 2mb that doesnt expand (or so the website says). Sorry if these question are rather juvenile but I overheard a Best Buy worker read out getting a 2mb comp is good even though the minimum for vista is 1mb but i wasn't aware that you could expand it and adjectives tha jazz.

Last I hear, the minimum for Vista (basic) is 512MB. 1GB is what our Vista comp has, and it's in good health enough for simple stuff (all my parents use on their comp is Internet, bureau, and email, and digital photos and printer), my Ubuntu Linux laptop has 512MB RAM, and it's plenty honest for browsing the Internet, Email, Youtube, IMing, and music, and my XP desktop had 768MB, which run pretty good, but I upgraded to 1.5GB, and it didn't boost performing a whole lot, basically it exits from memory intensive programs a lot faster.
if you are a really intense gamer i would reccomend a see 2 gigs just over does it. if you merely need it for usual use then i would probly reccamend a 512 mb and a 128mb
I own a computer store contained by Scottsburg, IN. I spend hours every day building notebook computers a short time ago the way my customers want them. Trust someone who know from experience... If you purchase a laptop that has 2gb of RAM, you will not requirement to upgrade for at least 2 years. When it is time to upgrade, you can purchase DDR2 push for your laptop that has more memory per stick. Your laptop will doubtfully max out until in the region of 8gb anyways.
