Apple mac. is it the best computer out near?

Answer:
Typically you'll go and get answers that "Macs sucks" from clueless Windows users that think they're "l33t". Most of them don't hold a clue whatsoever regarding Macs. Like the guy that said they don't own any software available. Most commercial applications have Mac version and those running OS X have access to most of the initiate source software of the world (which happens to be the worlds largest software repository)

You can run Unix, command flash Unix, most *nix applications, and even Windows itself on a Mac.

Windows is for amateur computer users (some just guess they know computers), however, the *nix and OS X world is another universe of computing. Windows is the Ford/Chevy of the operating system world. Made for the clueless masses. The singular thing they're worthy for is gaming.

Most of the worlds scientists, engineers and developers now use Macs. Just pocket a look at any developers conference. Why? Because it's a Unix system that can run a lot of commercial software, that's why.

Anyone recitation you "Macs suck", or are for novices, or give you some lame anecdote about how their sisters/brothers/friend or cousins Mac, works resembling crap is usually one hundred percent, absolutely clueless when it comes to computing.

Leave Windows for 12 year out-of-date kids who think they're "cool".

UPDATE:
Ya gotta love the thumbs down, however, catch sight of how no one refute what I said? <shakes head at drippy fool>
Some will say yes, others will flame you mercilessly. It's completely a issue of opinion. It's also going to depend on what you intend to use it for.
If you don't precision about "how" the computer works and you basically want it to work, and look fancy, Macs are good. Especially if you own a lot of money to spend.

Also, if you are a computer enthusiast, Macs are widely permitted as being better for Publishing and photo work.

Having said that, I've other used a Windows machine... I don't come up with I would ever give it up for a Mac, but that's me... I'm not motto anything bad almost macs. Like the other guy said -- it's almost all judgment.
The hardware is good part, they are well designed and powerfully thought-out. Mac OS is a nice operating system, especially for beginners, but it's also nice for power-users (it's based on UNIX, so next to a bit of tweaking you can actually do greatly of stuff).

I have a mac laptop and I dual-boot near linux and I'm very optimistic with it.

Mac OS X is MUCH better than window in tons respects, imho.
I've been using computers for over 15 years.. so I can speak that Apple Mac's are NOT the best by any means. My sister only just bought a Duo Core MacBook and it actually runs slower than my dad's Intel Pentium III PC to be exact falling apart. Sure it has a nice exterior shell and simplicity. I guess Mac's would be nice for the beginner computer user who just requirements to surf the net and not verbs about spyware virus out there.

But hand down windows are much more flexible and practically EVERYTHING is compatible with a window computer.

Oh and what's up with apple not have a right click and scroller on their mouse as a standard? Just a pet peeve. Damn..! Sorry - I was trying my best not to bash Apple.. hahaha. Again - simplicity for the simple folk
I agree next to both of them I have an feelings about mac's they suck these machines are overpriced fancy looking machines that one and only work with a constrained number of programs. Walk into your nearest business and look at what they are using....If Mac's are the superior race of Pc's why aren't they used within more business/ school related services? Because they are too expensive!!

Hope it helps.
