What laptop is best to use music studio software on, eg cubase?

i don't hold much money but i would like a laptop that i can use music studio software on.

Answer:
Any MacBook Pro beside sufficient RAM.

We use our MacBook with any USB audio interfaces or with direct line-in for audio soundtrack voice-overs for live events as well as editing track for video and live shows. It works better than any laptops I've seen out nearby and has extremely verbs audio.

I really like Soundtrack Pro, but if you want free, afterwards Garage Band will do simple editing.

Cubase is great, and this is what we used to use, but have gone to Soundtrack Pro for it's integration near Final Cut.

Hope this helps!
A sony Viao would be a honest start. You probably want to look at software such as Propellerheads Reason and Ableton Live as these are program based music packages. Reason is terrifically good as it contains it's own virtual instruments near virtual samplers, effects and mixer. If you add a roland midi the ivories to it via a midi / USB driver such as a midiman interface or an Edirol UA-25 (Slightly more expensive but allows microphones to be plugged in) then you would be cooking. It might be better for you to let go up a bit more and then bring back a better computer as software based music packages can start to munch through up ram and processing power. Cubase is more of a sequencing packet and works great with external keyboards but getting it adjectives connected (if you already have keyboards) can bring the price up.
practically any laptop can run a music software but a apple would be suited better. you dont need a expensive leaptop, buy a cheap affordable one and lately make sure near is enought Ram and a good size Harddrive. if you want it merely fgor music just delete or dont install any other software. making it as powerful as you want :)
none because you will not obtain the sound Quality not even through
skipper phones always sounds tiny you may find better results copying to cd and the play or downloading to an Ipod or similaring but watch out for copyrights.
