you should get the core 2 duo so you can be up to date so when the core 2 duo starts getting outmoded all youll own to do to keep beside up with unknown computers out there is merely install more ram for better deeds plus a core 2 duo has 2 cores runs applications better than a regular core duo
it is so much better as if you buy a different pc next to it in you will grasp suficent ram (eg 1gb or above) near core duo you'll get 512mb or above...
why not draw from core 2 duo quad, they are much cheaper nowadays i'm going on for to buy one now.
