Window vista?

how oodles you already upgrade it to vista or buy new workstation with vista, what are spec you own.

what do you think a hot future , what will be the minimum memory run into you will need.

I chew over mininum 3 or greater, for now.

Answer:
I custom built my workstation and went near vista.

My specs;
2 gigs DDR2 ram
Amd Dual core 3800
250 see sata hard drive
tv tuner card
Nvidia 7300 gt 256 mg vdram dvi and vga output

Minimum specs are different depending on which altered copy you chose, for vista home basic, dual core or core 2 duo and 512 mgs is plenty because there is no Aero interface.

Any variation and up like premium and last minimum 1 gig. Remember if you don't return with a video card seperate from your mother board that the video card will share your ram.
To increase speed you can disable the gadget and Aero but I like the gadget, Aero you really don't need or awareness much.
1 GB is plenty. 2GB is overkill. 3+GB totally unnecessary unless you're runing a webserver like Google's!
Vista 32bit can simply address around 3GB of memory anyway, the future for Vista is dutiful, as Microsoft, after Jan 2008 will stop all OEM selling XP, so it doesnt really enjoy much competition after that.
Personally, I think Vista is a piece of bloated rubbish. Overloaded near graphics and features that the average user doesnt really need, the switch to an operating system is simple in my judgment, clever programming, easy to use, and ...swift.
I think you shoud enjoy 1gb for home and 2 gb for anything else. Vista is a system hog, and I commonly use 1.5gb of my 2gb of ram
512 mb for rough vista
1 GB mb for ultimate vista

my spec.
athlon 3000
1 see memory
6600 GT in SLI mode
vista best
500 watt psu

its not a buttkicker but it works beautifully.
I use Vista on a couple of machines and enjoy found that 1GB is totally insufficient. I would recommend 2GB minimum and if you can afford it, 4GB.

It helps to enjoy a 'beefy' video card as well.
