Compaq Laptop Evo610c. The battery-operated go totally down. Now when I plug it within I can't turn it on.?

Is within a reset button anywhere. Even if the battery is totally departed it should work with the cord, right?

Yes it should be ok near the power adapter plugged in. I routinely consent to my lappy batteries run right down to "weighty cycle" them. But they run just fine while charging the battery. If it's under warranty run it wager on to where you bought it. If it's out of warranty, run down to your nearest computer shop and seize them to plug it in for ya and return with a difinitive answer..hope this helps. R.

don't forget to lift you adapter with you if you pinch it in.
