Laptop for an 11-year ancient? Can you adopt me!!! If you were seriously going to receive the kid a laptop, wait for the Sunday rag and Best Buy will have a Toshiba or Compaq for underneath $600. Keep in mind, if this laptop is used more than 4 days a week... it's not going to ultimate more than a few years with or short warranty. I bouht a Toshiba with a 4 year warranty and everytime something happen to it, they tell me it's not covered because "that" is one and only cosmetic. I'd get a desktop PC from a local computer shop that will build it from scrape. You can pick the good of the gooder! and still thump any price or quality around.
i would win a desktop computer that you can monitor her on until she's of age, are you aware of the crap she'll be able to procure ahold of online?! and the sexual preditors?!
