Lost my Toshiba Recovery disc?

I hold lost my Toshiba equium M40-X laptop recovery disc and i need to restore your health my system. Some one suggested i can use any toshiba recovery cd untill i use my valid window serial key provided on spinal column of my laptop.. Please do suggest is this correct way and also suggest me any better ways. Thank you...

I basically can't find where you can down;wipe, create, or buy new salvage CDs.
yeah use any XP cd and when it asks you for the code look on back of ur laptop. you will hold to download drivers, so go to toshibas site very soon and download the networking drivers a moment ago incase the reload doesnt install them. and make sure u fund up if ur gonna format. if u dont need to format, justr install on one and the same c: when it asks about partition, uhhhh... oh yeah leave directory system intact. Have fun
