Help me - any1!!!?
Also, I bowdlerize videos and work beside photos - I love doing it! Overall, I love everything that is digital! But right in a minute, I'm stuck at a big problem - I want to buy a new computer but can't prefer what to buy :(. Half my mind is telling me to buy a PC, while its partner is telling me to buy a notebook. - for freedom and mobility. But some notebook have big limitations, so I wouldn't know how to enjoy next-gen games. Plus, Mac OS X's pretty design and cool features are attracting me towards it. I'm also being attracted towards Windows Vista at one and the same time. I know, a Mac can run both the OSs. But the Mac(any Mac - iMac, Mac Pro or MacBook Pro), isn't too capable of running games, although its great for image-editing and internet. PLEASE can someone push for me what to buy??? A PC or notebook, OR a Mac??? I'm really stranded here!!!( I do an equal amount of everything - image-editing, gaming and Flash progr.)

Latest pentium Processor or AMD, Good motherboard approaching Intel with SATA support, Sata HDD beside higher size, 1GB or higher DDR2 RAM, PCI Express G-Force 512MB Graphic card , 21' LCD blind + good and bigger ATX shell!! that is the impressive thing you want to choose!!
Forget the notebook - too expensive, not enough power and not upgradeable. For what you want it have to be a desktop PC - not enough games for Macs and more roar for your bucks with a PC
I would by a PC since you similar to gaming and so forth then stockpile up some more to by a mac book. Why not get the best of both worlds.
I would progress with a PC one-sidedly since I've always used them. People complain that PCs are not as protected, all you necessitate is a decent antivirus and firewall and that's it. For gaming, a PC is a must. You can do illustrative editing on a PC and Vista will only capture better and better once MS continues to update it. If you feel approaching playing with a striking OS, install Linux on your Hard Drive alongside Vista or get 2 rugged drives. There are shells for Linux that look amazing. I bought a notebook thinking games could be run off them a long time ago. I be wrong and ended up getting a desktop again. A laptop is accurate if you write papers and at doing certain tasks. Gaming isn't one of them. You can buy a giant end laptop near the latest mobile graphics chipset but you are still stuck beside it when the PC surpasses it.
The best solution is a PC with a Linux, Linux is safer than a Windows, and it have precious and beautiful symbolic, so it won't be image editing or flash. As for configuration, prior will be a gaming configuration, I don`t know a WCG configuration if u have money to spend. If u enjoy configuration to play games, you have configuration for any other brief on your computer. For internet, Mozilla of course, and you can buy this configuration:
CPU-any Dual-Core or Quadra-Core
Motherboard-I devise Nvida's are best
Graphic card-I will soon buy 7900GS, or RADEON X1600 or X1900 (this one is 400eurs)
RAM-Kingston or Corsair 1GB or 1GB+512MB
