Laptop power meter problem NEED URGENT HELP!!?

This bizarre phenomenon has be happening to my 2 years infirm Compact laptop recently. You see, I would use my computer, and own the power cord inserted into a socket either surrounded by my house or in conservatory when I work in the Libary. However, as everything be properly connected, the icon shows that electricity is individual charged. This is what appears: "23% charging". But after a while though, the electricity charging icon would disappear, and clicking on the deity, it would show something like "20% remaining".

My telecommunication cord has a rounded cessation which i just insert into my laptop, when is it noticebale that it is not charging, I'll run out the rounded end and stick it surrounded by to make sure it charges, again, what happen is that the icon shows the power height as depleted and not charging. So i justtake out the rounded end of the power cord and insert it inside harder this time, and it charges.for a while.

Please serve me on this, it's driving me to the brink!

That is one of the worst kinds to troubleshoot. Unless you enjoy another similar model Compaq laptop laying around to question paper the power cord with, it's tough to speak for sure.

But that should be your first step. Either there is something wrong next to the power cord, battery, or the connector on the laptop. That's the instruct you want to replace them in - cheapest to most expensive.
