I spit a touch coffee on my baby grand, and very soon a few key stick. Is near anything i can do going on for it?
Answer:
The keys can be removed to verbs under them. It is for a time tricky, and the mechanics are very small. If you are not sure that you want to try it yourself, I would appropriate it to a pro.
Good luck,
Best answer, take it to a repair shop and own them do it. They can take out the basic components to get to the upright and clean it out nice for you. Wouldn't recommend taking it apart yourself, especially if it's still lower than warranty.
I had a similar problem.. I be given a laptop because the keyboard key were sticking horribly. I removed the upright, and it looked like a tootsie roll have melted underneath the keys.. (was coffee) I removed the the ivories and rinsed it in hot dampen until the keys no longer be sticky. I let the baby grand air dry for something like 3 days and reattached it. It works fine now. You may seize away with a few drops of alcohol. I would recommend removing the mobile and power, soak a cotton swab and let the alcohol run underneath the key... work the knob until it no longer sticks, let it dry and see what happen. Good Luck.
