Problems beside my dvd strike on my notebook hp pavilion dv2423la notebook?

i own problems with my dvd strike in my exotic notebook hp pavilion dv2423la it used to work but not any more is the second one beside the same problems it say is the drivers please help me..

If this is a up to date PC and you are already having issues, I would recommend returning it right away. But the solution is to be in motion to the HP website and simply go to support, drivers and provide your models number and downoad the driver. It will install on its own from in that.
Hi, go to HP.com and and use their investigate site, just type in-
