Yahoo doesnt works since I hold established Wireless Network at my home.?
I'm using MTNL Triband whcih is ADSL broadband service since later 2 years. Yahoo was prime priority for all the services similar to email. groups etc. meanwhile, I purshased laptop and started using wirless router modem from D-Link. and from that point of time Yahoo doesnt gets open from my laptop. But EVERY other website can be accesed easily. is the problem is beside my firewall settings/zone alram software?

Follow these instructions.
Add yahoo website in the schedule of trusted websites.
To do so,follow these instructions.
1.Open IE.
2.Click Tools > Internet Options.
3.Click on security tab.Then click on trusted sites.
4.Add yahoo to the index.
5.Click apply and ok.
If the issue still persists next follow these instructions.
1. Disable Windows firewall.
2. Tried pinging www.yahoo.com .
3. Finally I delete the HOSTS file.
To find the HOSTS database:
Click Start and Search-à All files and folders à In Search box type - hosts
à Then click More Advanced Options and check options
>> Search system folders
>> Search out of sight files and folders
>> Search subfolders
Then Click Search.
Once the search completes, the dig out results will retrieves approximately 6
to 8 files.
Like:
hosts
lmhosts etc.
Concentrate on hosts file, get underway the file near NOTEPAD.
Once the file is open you will find lot of text to be exact marked near #
ignore that primer. Scroll down to the page where you will find 127.0.0.1
localhost check if in that is any website is listed, if nearby is any website
is listed that will not unequivocal in Internet Explorer or contained by any other browser.
You can either delete that website from that profile or you can delete the
entire hosts file. Windows will re-create that folder once you restart the
computer and connects to Internet.
This is applicable for all the Websites.
I hope this is fix the issue.
the problem is ur firewall inflict every site which has a secured login resembling orkut, gmail, yahoo needs a firewall...if my firewall doesnt nouns i cant access orkut gmail or yahoo...but i can surf other sites.
