Laptop/desktop Purchasing Advice?

I call for computer for school and I hold no idea what's best. I be leaning toward a laptop, but I know desktops are cheaper (and I am unequivocally on a budget!). Either way, I stipulation some advice give or take a few what brands are good part for a good price, a virtuous store/webstore I could purchase thru, and what specs would be best for my student needs. Thank you SO much!

If you are on a low budget, I would suggest a Toshiba or a Dell. Most potential a Toshiba and they arent that expensive.

If you need to know the specs: 2.6 ghz and look for Intel Core Duo which is really righteous. 1 GB+ memory helps for storing files and things resembling that. Windows Vista is probably a good article, but there is positively nothing wrong next to Windows Professional XP.

And if you worry roughly speaking the graphics card, NVidia would be the best and Intel Core Duo and NVidia logos should be on the laptop near the mouse wipe.

Ask a proffessional that works at like circuitcity or compusa
