Dell Inspiron Laptop Power Cord Problem?

I enjoy a Dell Inspiron 2200. The power cord, even when plugged in, keep not supplying power to my laptop. It is in the nouns from the back of the laptop to the plug. it have to be moved a little bit to the side to correct the problem temporarily, but how can i correct it forever.

Answers:
This is a very adjectives problem. Either the plug on the laptop or on the power cord is damaged and have become intermittent. This can happen if you tug on the cord or accidentally put stress on the connector.

Hopefully it's on the cord side. Perhaps you can check near friends and relatives and see if they have a Dell beside the same power supply. At lowest you can determine if it's with the laptop or next to the cord.

If its not the cord, then you'll enjoy to send the computer within to have the power jack replaced. If you are handy beside a soldering iron, you can try to do it yourself.

Hope this helps.
See if your laptop is still within warranty from DELL. If you are not sure, check with DELL Customer Support (you can chat or give the name DELL customer support) to find out if you are still in warranty time of year. If you are in warranty, you can transport your laptop and they correct it and send that subsidise to you. If you are out of warranty period next check with them to findout how much it would cost to take that repaired. If you feel this is expense, find out from Bestbuy or circuit city. They can contribute you a free quote for estimation.
