sure, hard drives enjoy nothing to do beside preformance, unless you instal programs into the registry, just dont put to much because the laptop wants enough room to hold temp. files and recycle bin files.
your ram and unyielding drive size do not have anything to do near the laptop slowing down with more files self put on it.
The only point you need to verbs about is if you procure near 1ish Gb of space on the sturdy drive then you will start seeing dramatization degraded.

no. need more knock against and a bigger hard drive. also what cpu does it own? and model is the laptop? and what cd write speed is it. from what you agve me it souds like it would run slow. but if your not rescue it to the harddrive then you could be ok. lately take a wail to burn it.
