I necessitate a strange laptop computer! HELP QUICK!!!?
1-it is so slow! i even cleaned up my knotty drive and defragged it like 3 times this chronological month and its still slow
2- the screen is almost rotten of it so it needs to be propped up to work
3- the button 2 unequivocal it fell off so presently i have to similar to use a screw driver to get it friendly
i have be thinking of theese computers below. please rate them or tell me whitch one you suppose will work the best for a long time to come. (i can not exceed $1100!)

the macbook is the best
even if it's 2.5 years mature, it still might be good. It only just might need some cleaning up near some antispyware, anti adware, or antivirus programs. What are the exact specs?
I would get any the Apple MacBook (basic configuration) for $1099 from www.apple.com or I would get the Dell Inspiron 1721 for $1079 from www.dell.com. Each device has advantages and disadvantages over respectively other.
--The Dell has a 17" monitor, the MacBook have a 13" monitor
--The Apple has UNIX base MacOSX, the Dell uses Windows VistaTM Home Premium
--Both computers will run OS respective versions of Microsoft Office
--The Apple MacBook may hold a smaller display but it has slightly longer battery-operated life/battery use time over the Dell
--The Apple uses Intel's Core2Duo CPU, the Dell gives you a choice of any AMD Turion64x2 or Intel Core2Duo (If you are smart, Intel's Core2Duo and AMD's newer Turion64x2 and Athlon64x2 CPU's are going to give better show results for both everday computing and multimedia uses, so don't even think of getting something near Sempron, Celeron, PentiumD, or CoreSolo processors)
--Both the Apple and the Dell have reasonably good repair histories, although I would check near Consumer Reports, G4 TechTV, or CNET for further reviews and information.
I would seriously narrow your purchases to any the Apple MacBook $1099 or the Dell Inspiron 1721 $1079
Of the three I would look at the Apple first simply because you will be looking at Apple software and apple service which are going to be better than what you get near the Acer or Gateway. Having said that I don't personally close to Apple's myself.
Between the Acer and Gateway they are totally different machines. The Acer is small and portable while the Gateway is a big heavy desktop replacement. With the big blind the Gateway is more likely to hold monitor issues because of the weight on the hinge over time.
Both the Acer and Gateway use the GMA graphics which mean you are going to own big problems with games and terribly slow 3D.
I don't think I would purchase any of them myself, especially if I'm looking towards the adjectives.
Unfortunately the $1100 budget is a bit shy of what I'd be looking at for most of ones I would look at for the years to come.
I agree with the other poster who mentioned the Dell laptop but I would own to disagree on the 17" screen Dell. That one can enjoy the same problem beside hinges simply because of the eyeshade and again has the GMA integrated graphics (although it have the 3100 version which will be much much better).
I would look at the Dell 1521. It can be customized to hold Vista Premium, decent rugged drive, ram, etc AND an Nvidia 8400GS video card to ensure compatability beside games in the adjectives. Plus the 15" screen is more probable to last over time. At $1200 you could get hold of an 8600 video card which is even better but at $1100, sorry :(
At $1300 I would take a serious look at the Asus laptops, they enjoy some really nice ones out there
Oh, and in relation to the Turion processor in the 17" Dell laptop, not the best choice for the adjectives. It uses more power and runs hotter than the Core 2 Duo plus it is overall slower. True it has adequate horsepower to run what you'll need, but over time the Core 2 Duo will hold greater staying power and the lower power usage and cooler laptop mean smaller quantity chance of breakdowns.
I guest u should see Toshiba.. It's better than HP..
