Can Sony VGN series laptops such as the vgn n250ew be programmed beside windowsxp home or pro to avoid vista?

Im economically aware of the Vista bugs and dont want the headaches associated near it. The problem is when you call Sony they could vigilance less and will in a flash acknowledge the outcry against Vista but dont want to do anything about it. Of course they dont own the drivers on the website and, again, are almost and i did say almost as impossible as the Dell service techs. Has anyone had any experience splicing xp drivers on the vaio VGN series and do you own any adivce. Thanks.

Answer:
Yes, in reality I just get done doing it today. The biggest problem is that Sony will no longer honor the warranty and the may not supply you with Device drivers for the hardware. Before you start break open the Vista Device manager and put together a list of adjectives the peripherals ( Sound, Video, Modem, Netcard etc...) and then check beside Sony to see if they will supply XP drivers for these. If not check each one of the manufacturer web sites to download a current device driver for XP.
XP should already enjoy all the correct drivers, because within fact vista have less drive support than XP. Also, on newegg.com for $95 you can take XP Home.
