I am departure my laptop at home for one week. Should I put the laptop within its travel case or move off it out?

It make no difference.
Well, make sure you shut it down, unplug it from the wall outlet, and from at hand it doesn't matter where on earth you put it really.
if its in a undamaging place and will not be harmed when out of its case next u can leave it out
put contained by a secure place after checking that it is turned sour
and is password protected
as someone mite break in your home and steal it
Make sure that you do the following:
Shut it down, not stand by or hibernate.
Charge it completly, or atleast some of it.
Then unplug it.
Put it surrounded by the case if you want. It won't concern, but I think if you do put it surrounded by, it might be more protected from bad nouns or anything that could harm it. Yeah, you should disappear it in the grip.
Then just put it somewhere and lock it up, and if you want, you could put a password to it. You never know when someone could break into your house and steal something.
In the shield just to be on the protected side.
I would say disappear it somewhere protected from drips, dust and scousers!
