as usual the issue with microsoft is that they other release software that has not be properly evaluated... first of all back you installed vista you should have check the compatibility of your hardware similar to video card, dvd writers, soundcards and modem.. if one of them don't work i can only suggest that you rollback to porthole xp and try running compatibilty wizard from time to time until there is software for your programs.. if adjectives of them works and you only hold issues with the interrogate you posted, here are the links
