I'm getting a up to date laptop. Can someone recommend a obedient one?
Answer:
Toshiba make very perfect laptops in my feelings. I had a Toshiba 5200 several years ago which would still be better surrounded by terms of level and features than my brand new Dell 6400.
My suggestion, stay away from Dell
Dells and Macs are great for college students but I really approaching Gateway.
I would recommend this from cyberpowerPC. It has free shipping, an excellent AMD processor, a video card near dedicated 256Mb video memory, a webacam, and much more!
It also have all of this free stuff-Dark messiah, Rise of nation:rise of legends, age of empuires 3, a t shirt, and a carrying case.
Support is also excellent-a 3yr warranty and tech support for ur entire energy.
Well, I have a Toshiba Satellite A105 series laptop that come with 512 mb strike, wifi capabilities, 4 usb pots, 15.4 contained by wide eyeshade, modem, ethernet, S-video out, and vga monitor connection, and express card slot.. I love it.. use it adjectives the time, and, of course, I enjoy upgraded it to 1gb ram.
oh, and have a 60 gb hard drive.. as capably as dvd/cd rw...
you can probably get it near the dvd writer as well.
Well I only just got a Laptop for School ;-) and plays great feature games to. HP dv6000. Its a bit expensive though.
I recommend these Customize specs:
2GB of ram
120GB Hard drive
256MB NVIDIA(R) GeForce(R) Go 7200
AMD Turion(TM) 64 X2 Dual-Core TL-561.8ghz or 2.0ghz

or you could other go to a best buy or Frys and look for a cpu next to a high finish grahics card
nvidia and ati
Gateway definitely. I hold a HP and there is profusely of problems with it. My sister have a Gateway and she hasn't had any problems.
I don't know what to recommend, but don't capture an IBM! I have one and I beyond doubt hate it.

Affordable and powerful adequate to play games are somewhat difficult to combine in a laptop than a desktop.
Affordable ones would usually own integrated graphics. They are good for 2D but sucks within 3D. In any case, stay away from Intel integrated graphics and stir for ATI.
The laptops that are better for gaming would have Nvidia's Go 7300 or 7400. They are clearly much better than integrated graphics but the laptops having them may not be so affordable.
Here's a correlation to Nvidia's Go 7300, 7400.
