Keyboard sensitivity?

I hold got a unknown laptop, that works fine. Except for when I'm using Yahoo IM. When I try to type in IM I own to press each push button about 3 times, as if there's no sensitivity! Everywhere else/every other application it works fine. I am typing this customarily. Is this a problem with IM or my laptop?

Yahoo IM's man messed up all afternoon!
IM if it only happen in IM its IM not your tool
Probably a problem with IM. Try reinstalling it.
Delete IM, later reinstall it - I did am fine now!
Neither, it's a problem next to you. The trouble is; you kids today expect everything to work, when I were a lad you be lucky if anything worked at all. So count your blessing and stroke away thrice.
