You can try a rugged reset of the modem.
- the sequence takes roughly speaking 20 seconds to accomplish - it is a little tricky, but suffer with me.
- you will hold the button down for 20 second, 5 seconds into this 20 second sequence, verbs the power from the back of the part and wait 5 second, then plug the power final in and skulk the remaining 10 seconds.
- you will see adjectives the lights resequence and in the appendage, the unit will be put into sleep mode - slap the button one time and all the lights should come support on.
If after performing this, you still don't get an online lead, you should check your cable connections leading up to the box (try another cable outlet surrounded by the house, make sure nearby are no splitters between the wall and the cable modem that are not provided by the cable co.)
I have see cheap splitters and damaged cords lead to the symptoms you have described.
You can telephone the cable company and have them check if they can ping your modem from their side.
There is a discrete trellis admin page in the cable modem that will update you what exactly is failing, but try the above first, and if you can't get it working, email me pay for.
