But I do enjoy a suggestion.
VIsta is a memory hog. Running 1gig of ram is pretty much the minimum that you are going to want to run it smoothly.
The certainty that this laptop has 2 x 512 sticks of bump means that if you want to make the addition of more memory to speed up your computer, you will have to buy 2 x 1024(1Gig) sticks to replace the 2 x 512 sticks that are currently within there. This is because your laptop with the sole purpose has two slots for strike, and they are both being used.
See if you can find one that have a Gig of ram within only one stick. That style when you want to upgrade to 2 gigs of ram, you just need to buy 1 x 1024(1Gig) stick.
