It depends on what manufacturer you like I recommend HP because they are reliable and they kind great long lasting pc's.
Try out Dell they enjoy some really good laptops simply their customer service sucks haha their comps are really good
ur not going 2 carry much in that price field so do expect to be playing games on it. laptops in that price field can do basic network surfing, work processing, and media playing, and thats going on for it. that being said look @ the hp dv6000T
