Answer:
Hi...
First I'd do a "Defrag" on that drive and see what it shows you. Proceed from in attendance depending on your results.
You can do a "Defrag" from the command prompt; or under your Control Panel Tools option.

Are you sure is space memory and not virtual memory? (ram)
go to mycomputer, right click on your c drive and see how much space do you enjoy, below that you can see information how to clear space
or you can just buy an external intricate drive which is not that expensive
you can try to defrag and see if that frees up space. Also, clear out your recycle bin.
You can compress your drive to get more space, but it significantly degrade performance. My suggestion is to find out what is taking up the space, and start deleting stuff you really don't inevitability to have.
Check the size of folder C:\windows\CSC ( it's unobserved system files). If that is too huge, turn off by right clicking on C drive and unchecking 'indexing service', next delete c:\windows\Csc
check temp directory and run disk cleanup
do you have greatly of offline web page?
do you do a lot of video processing the temp files for anything the program you are using may need to be manually delete
Right click on START
Left click on Explore
Right click on C:drive
Left click on Properties
Left click on Disk Clean up
Just check your laptop thoroughly.See the drive which takes closely of space.go to tools and within folder options, click the picture tab and select show hidden files and folders.Thr might b sm roomy hidden files that r using your HD space.
Be sure to run your deposit programs (anti-virus and anti-spyware)--a worm sometimes will take up a chunk of memory, replicate itself (taking up twice as much memory), replicate itself again, and so on and so forth until your mechanism tells you it is low on memory.
More work, smaller quantity porn ...... nah i'm kidding
What you first bad want to do is go to Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Disk Clean up. Run this ... it will achieve rid of some unnessessary files from your machine. When you delete stuff do you ever futile your recycle bin? This will empty your bin, your temp files, your temp internet files. It can also compress files on your device (I do not recommend this, a compressed drive cannot be recovered if it crashes) if you are REALLY low on space.
I would also go and delete anything as far as picture or other "items" that you are not really need.
After you are done there shift to Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Disk Defragmenter ... this will move the files on your HDD (not your directory) and make stuff start up faster. Also on the Defrager you will see % of free space. If this is really low consequently you have closely more than 10 GB used up.
If this still doesn't solve anything your memory problem might be RAM related. You might be running too much stuff at the same time and your gadget can't handle it adjectives. What you what to do it System Properties > Advanced > Proformance > Settings > Advnaced > Virtual Memory > Settings ... (like really need to take home that so it is less clicks) Increase this size. What this does is uses HDD space after your RAM is chock-a-block up.
