About Windows Vista Aero and stuff ...?

okay, I own installed a clean Vista Ultimate installation on my VAIO VGN-BX561B Laptop. I own updated all the drivers and software from the internet. I'm other running Vista Basic and there is no Windows Aero alternative in Color Scheme. Plus, I've tried adjectives the tricks that the tweak sites have programmed on enabling Aero on non-compatible PCs, and nil worked. Is it normal? Or is in attendance something missing?? Please note that I hold intalled the OS many times, and the problem is indistinguishable.

Vista Aero requires a overall chalk up of your computer to be at 2.6 or more. It seems because of the specs on your computer it seem it would not run Aero, because Vista would give your computer a low mark.
I have Vista Ultamate. CPU is a 3.0 GHz, 1GB of Ram , 160GB HD, a x1950XTX video card and the ranking I get is 4.2.
Then solitary time it get Vista Basic is when I uninstall the drivers for the video.

Hi, from what I know Vista plain does not have Aero, you obligation home preium or above.

Windows Visat requires ALOT more memory than XP and previous OSs, you should look into upgrading to 2-4GB DDR.

Or uninstall Vista, reinstall XP and wait for Vista Service pack 1.
