Compaq Laptop Computer Presario V2000?

Anyone who have this model of a laptop?Give me all details around it as am thinking of buying a second hand one from an expat since he leaves.I just want to know if it is worth getting it!!

I will say that the V2000 is the plinth model and quite possibly the one you are looking into may hold slightly differing specifications. On the obverse of the laptop it may say V2000 but generally Compaq puts the exact model number under the serial number on the bottom of the laptop. This number if different can be impressively helpful within determining what spefications are different from the base V2000 model such as knotty drive size, memory size, if it has DVD burning ablity or not, conceivably even if it came next to a 6 or 8 cell battery.
