My laptop is broken due to a spillage: which parts could I put up for sale?

So I spillt some shampoo down it and it properly won't turn on again. The HD is foreign, and the laptop itself under 2 years hoary - is there any emergency for these kind of parts?

Answer:
There are tons parts that could be sold however you should see if the computer can be repaired. I have fixed oodles computers that have be damaged due to coffee spills drops or overheating. Parts that can be sold are Screen, battery-operated, RAM (if not damaged due to shorting out from spill), Hard Drive, Casing, CPU, Fans, Wireless Network Adapter, CD/DVD drive, outer crust, Cmos Battery.

I don't know of any part to market!!! It would probably be cheaper to get it fixed
Depends how fruitless the damage is. Your rugged drive, processor, ram chips, DVD or compact disc drive may be salvigable. You could try getting it fixed..my friend took his laptop apart, aired it out and dried up everything, replaced his processor or something and was upright...Mind you, hes quite a compu-whiz.
get rid of the hardrive
Sell most of it, ebay is your friend, RAM, HDD, even bits you wouldnt think of might be bought (if its nearby, it can go wrong, for this reason people want!).

Or you could try and claim it on house insurance, catch it repaired or a new one!!!!

Alternatively, it probably aint a lost wreak, find a friend who has restraint to fix it, laptops are meant to be semi resilient!

Otherwise, of late take the pieces apart, if they work, go :)
