Mac book vs. Mac book pro..it's going down this time!?
Answer:
I have a Macbook & LOVE it. It does everything but clear your coffee in the morning for you (yet). I use iPhoto for numerous things along beside iMovie as well. I don't judge you will slow down the Macbook by "souping it up". They just come out with a Macbook beside even more memory. If you don't feel you will ultilize the Macbook Pro afterwards don't get it. To be honest, at hand really isn't much of a difference at all. Another option, call 1-800-MY-APPLE, speak to CS, I'm sure they will be capable of give you more details on the subject of the two.
The OS for MAC is just fine, don't second-hand goods it up with Vista, nought but problems I hear!
Welcome to MAC. You won't regret it!
You can get macbooks below 950 bucks from Apple if you look normally enough (refurbished models which are beside the same aspect as retail, and same warranty too).
Just search the apple store for "refurb" and select items over 500 bucks.
You may want to return with a pro machine if you are going to do stout graphics, such as a lot of video/image processing, or playing games: the video card and eyeshade size are the big differences. Pro models also have firewire support which again is something you will want if you do video or audio professionally.
Ah, closing but not least: the keyboards are VERY different. So if you are going to do greatly of typing, I suggest you go to an apple store and try both keyboards and compare.
Congradulations! Best article to do! Go Mac!
I have a Macbook myself and its great and FAST! Just obtain a Macbook with a illustrious RAM. The more RAM the faster it is.
I have 1GB of RAM and its pretty virtuous.
Make sure you get the Macbook beside the SuperDrive, because that means you can burn both cds and dvds
I bought a Refurbished Macbook and I am doing fine near it. I can run about 10 programs at once in need it slowing down. For you, I would say to buy a Macbook if you want to stay cheap and in recent times upgrade the RAM and the hard rive. Or, you can a short time ago buy a refurbished Macbook or Macbook Pro with everything you stipulation in it already built within. Refurbished is exactly like hot. The give it a unharmed newq body and screen. There is no differenvce. So, I would simply reccomend a refurbished Macbook Pro.
For what you have said you want to do a MacBook should be fine. If you plan to use boot military camp 1GB RAM should be ok, but if you plan to do both at the same time using Parallels, upgrade to 2GB RAM.
The Mac Pro will present you more screen space. It might be better if you plan to use it for any games because of the better graphics card.
