Battery worn-out on laptop?
does anyone know how i can fix it?.
Answer:
Before you travel off and buy a replacement mobile, you will want to check to see if its the battery or not.
When you plug the laptop contained by, does it show that the battery is person charged? Does the charge icon come on and travel off?
Give Dell a telephone. Some systems (I know Compaq had a way) will allow you to fully burn the mobile down, and then try the charge again. If this doesnt work, the issue may not be the mobile, but the terminal coming in from the cord, the cord, or the power converter.
If you afford Dell a call, and consent to them know that its not holding a charge, they should walk you though some of these steps, and may know how to send you a free replacement battery-operated or power converter, and if nothing else, might distribute you a box to send the laptop contained by for a board replacement. (thats where I terminated up before)

order the replacement, here is the cooperation ^^
IF YOU CAN ONLY USE IT WHEN ITS PLUGGED IN IT HAS TO BE THE BATTERY
You should check the battery wear height with a program close to MobileMeter or something, though it's probably unlikely a worn out battery is the grounds of your problem.
get a volt meter and check the battery-operated specs and see what voltage it should be then fully charge the freestyle and check it be sure you have positive ( red ) on the positive ( if symbol is in that it will be a plus sign ) terminal and the negative ( black ) is on the unenthusiastic ( minus symbol ) terminal. if not at right voltage take a new freestyle make sure you set the volt meter to volts DC you can draw from them at sears for in the region of $20.00
